Grand Manchester Hyatt San Diego
For this wedding, both the bride and groom are Navy so they wanted their ceremony by the bay at the Embarcadero Marina Park North which is just past Marina Village. And as luck would have it we even had a missle destroyer sail by dring the ceremony so of course I got plenty of it in the background.
After their ceremony and family photos we got into my car and drive over the bride to Centennial Park in Coronado. There in Coronado we did some fun and romantic photos of just the bride and groom since we did all of the wedding party shots before the ceremony to save time.
Ater we were done in Coronado we drove back over (drive time is about 7 minutes) Coronado Bidge and valet parked the car at the Grand Manchester Hyatt. Instead of a ballroom, our couple elected to have their wedding reception at the top of the building in the penthouse suite. TALK ABOUT A VIEW!!! From the top of those towers you can see every bit of San Diego especially with floor to ceiling windows that open to blaconies. The penthouse venue has full bar, piano area, seating for over a hundred, and a good sized dance floor. Such an awesome place to have a wedding reception in San Deigo.
