Our Lady Of Confidence Church and Holiday Inn San Diego Down Town
Our groom for this wedding is an avid sailor and so he wanted to have his wedding reception and formal photos close to the water.
The wedding ceremony was at Our Lady of Confidence church San Diego. It is a big beautiful church with lots of ornate stained glass windows and plenty of natural light. No craziness here, it was a sweet and tender wedding ceremony in front of their freinds and family.
After the wedding ceremony, we traveled to the Japanese Friendship Bell located in Point Loma, San Diego. We had fun photographing romantic portraits there and at the Pearl of the Pacific sculpture area which is walking distance away. The San Diego Coast Guard station is just on the other side of the channel which adds to the overall maritime theme.
Upon leaving Point Loma we headed back over to the waterfront by the Star of India to the Holiday Inn San Diego for their wedding reception. It`s an older hotel that had several updates to keep it`s look modern. From there everyone had a great time at a very casual and relaxed wedding reception, and our couple spent the time hanging out with friends and family many that they haven`t seen in a long time. The one thing that I will for sure never forget from this wedding is the fact that they had custom bobble head wedding toppers that really looked like them!!
