Martin Johnson House
When doing a wedding at the Martin Johnson House, I know we are going to a wedding that has a very personal and intimate feel to it. This wedding was no exception. In fact, the couple embraced this idea to the fullest. Everything from the decor (much of which they found on their travels to France) to the way tables were set up (which just so happened to be arranged in way that made it easy to have conversations not only at one’s table, but with the surrounding tables). A ceremony can seem very formal and rigid, but the entire family was involved in this affair which instantly made the event have a lighter and friendlier atmosphere. The slight breeze that was warm made the transition to orange glow of sunset almost magical, making the photos of the pair even more special. As soon as the sun went down, the DJ turned on his lights and the dancing began. Smiles were hard to miss and excitement was abundant through out the night. Needless to say, it was an affair that the oldest and the youngest attendee enjoyed to its fullest.
